Project Manager – Major Construction Projects (£20m–£80m)

Location: Leeds

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a seasoned Project Manager looking to take the reins on large-scale, high-impact builds? Does leading complex projects across education, healthcare, and defence sectors spark your drive? Our client – a leading Tier 1 contractor – is seeking a confident and capable Project Manager to join their Leeds-based team.

About the Projects

You will be involved in significant projects within the Education, Ministry of Defence (MoD), and Healthcare sectors. These high-value projects require big-picture thinking and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading project delivery from pre-construction to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
2. Managing stakeholder relationships, including client representatives, architects, consultants, and internal teams.
3. Driving health & safety standards on site, ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations.
4. Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers' performance.
5. Forecasting costs, tracking budgets, and collaborating with commercial teams.
6. Chairing progress meetings and facilitating communication across project phases.
7. Preparing and managing programme schedules with planners.
8. Problem-solving to mitigate delays and ensure smooth progress.
9. Overseeing quality assurance and snag-free delivery.
10. Reporting on project performance to directors and senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a Project Manager with solid Tier 1 contractor experience on projects of similar scale and sector focus.

Requirements include:
