Overview

A reputable Main Contractor based in East London have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis, initially working on a project in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. The company delivers across London and the Home Counties for private and public sector clients, across sectors including Commercial, Education, Industrial, Healthcare, Residential, Social Housing and Retail, on new build, refurbishment, fit-out, restoration and maintenance projects valued between £50,000 and £5m.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of a project in Bishops Stortford comprising 6 new build private houses, from groundwork through to completion.
• Manage project execution to ensure on-time delivery, meeting budget and quality targets.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and clients, ensuring effective planning and communication.

Experience / Qualifications

• Track record working for a reputable Main Contractor
• Experience delivering similar projects (6 new build private houses / £2m value)
• Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous
• Strong people management skills and ability to get the best out of site teams
• Able to commute to Bishops Stortford and work across London and the Home Counties long-term
