The Role

You’ll be the operational engine behind London Defence Tech Week—owning timelines, managing content across platforms, and supporting partner relationships. This is a part-time contract role (with flexibility around hours) where you'll work directly with Resilience Media’s founders and collaborators across media, tech, and security. The team comprises industry veterans with exceptional experience and networks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Project Coordination: Keep timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders aligned in the lead-up to the event
• Social Media Management: Plan and post updates across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms to build momentum
• Website Management: Maintain and update event pages, profiles, and schedules as needed
• Inbound Partnerships: Manage and respond to interest from sponsors, collaborators, and community members
• Operational Support: Liaise with vendors, speakers, and venue partners to ensure smooth delivery

We’re Looking For

• Experience in project or event management, ideally with a startup or media background
• Comfortable juggling multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in startups and venture capital, and ideally defence and security
• Familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, basic CMS platforms, and social scheduling tools
• Excellent communication and coordination skills—you keep things moving and people informed
• Self-starter who thrives in founder-led, entrepreneurial settings

The Deal

• 6-month part-time contract (flexible schedule, approx. 2–3 days/week)
• Remote-first, but London-based candidates encouraged; will need to be on-site during London Defence Tech Week
• Work directly with the founders of Resilience Media
• A unique opportunity to help shape one of the most timely events in defence, technology, and democracy
