Qualifications

  • Certified at Project Manager level within PM@Siemens or equivalent experience.

A Snapshot of Your Day

  1. You will be responsible for Projects - PM@ Siemens category C-Small and will be expected to co-ordinate a portfolio of contracts of this type.
  2. Be the Customer contact for own project portfolio.
  3. Co-ordinates activities of internal departments to progress projects under their control.
  4. Responsible for handling the Project execution of new & Energy Service unit business contracts.
  5. Monitors technical and commercial aspects of projects and exercises control over schedules.
  6. Responsible for the assigned projects from sales handover to End of Warranty and Final Acceptance.
  7. Responsible for on time delivery.
  8. Stakeholder Management
  9. - Opening project budget.
  10. - Responsible for margin development.
  11. - Expected to manage and resolve project issues as they arise, and escalate as necessary.
  12. - Have the necessary awareness to resolve legal and commercial matters of a simple nature.
  13. - Co-ordinate and collaborate closely with commodity suppliers, to lead the smooth running of the contract to ensure delivery on time to the right quality whilst being within budget.
  14. - Exercise a policy of surveillance throughout the contract life to minimise risk and maximise opportunity. (Risk & Opportunity Management).
  15. In addition and to assist in career progression they may be required to act as a nominated Project Manager on projects up to and including PM@Siemens category B.
  16. Act proactively with claim management during project lifetime.

What You Bring

  1. You are Certified at Project Manager level within PM@Siemens, or can demonstrate an extensive understanding of Project Management.
  2. Proven record of achievement of set targets and measures.
  3. Demonstrable initiative and drive.
  4. Ability to lead a multi functional team.
  5. A great teammate.
  6. Entrepreneurial skills.
  7. Have good product knowledge and a sound knowledge of the company and its structure.
  8. Understanding of commercial and legal.
  9. Customer focused.
  10. Process oriented.
  11. Work towards Project Manager or Senior Project Manager Certification level within the PM@Siemens framework.

How You'll Make an Impact

  1. Entire responsibility for Project orders with a broader technology input.
  2. May co-ordinate several projects (up to €15m). Co-ordinates activities of internal departments to progress Project orders.
  3. Responsible for technical administration of projects and collaborate with the customer.
  4. Monitors technical aspects of projects and exercises control over schedules.
  5. Responsible for the assigned projects from sales handover to customer handover.
  6. Encouraged to resolve project problems which can be referred upwards when necessary.
  7. Have commercial responsibility, co-ordinate the company's principle sub-suppliers and provides meaningful information for contract variations.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
