Job summary

A leading engineering company seeks an experienced Plumber to oversee plumbing installations in Glasgow. Responsibilities include supervising on-site works, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and liaising with contractors and clients. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience and a valid plumbing license, along with knowledge of AutoCAD.

Job description

• Liaise with the main contractor, consultant, and clients on the progress of Plumbing & Sanitary installation works.

• Supervise sanitary and plumbing works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, safety standards, and PUB regulations.

• Read drawings and plan for required materials.

• Resolve engineering issues that arise during project execution.

• Attend inspections and meetings with suppliers, subcontractors, main contractors, consultants, and authorities.

• Prepare progress claims for the main contractor and clients, and attend related meetings.

• Prepare and certify progress claims for subcontractors and suppliers.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid Plumber License.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and the ability to submit drawings to main contractors, consultants, and clients.

• Possession of a Class 3 or 3A driving license would be an advantage.
