Unmissable new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a newly created cross functional team to support with the execution of large scale event projects.

The company

With a pedigree in delivering large scale outdoor and public facing events this team know what they are doing when it comes to mass participation and festival style events. Working within a well known space the events range from public festivals, outdoor events and more! Due to growth within this busy and dedicated team we are now supporting with the hire of an experienced Project Manager.

The role

This role is a critical role within the team where as the lead Project Manager you will be the lynchpin between all departments, stakeholders and team members bringing together processes, governance and documentation to the role. Working collaboratively with internal team and external partners the role will lead on ensuring project timelines and key strategic goals are met, supporting all phases of the event execution. Strategic planning and risk management are all part of the role with a high level of communication needed.

About you

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a relevant degree as well as an understanding of project planning for large scale events working closely with traffic, security and local authority/blue light services. Experience in strategic planning, and project management of public facing / sporting events would be huge advantage although we will also consider wider project management backgrounds. Experience and technical understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks would be an asset to this role.
