Unmissable new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a newly created cross-functional team to support the execution of large-scale event projects.

The company

With a pedigree in delivering large-scale outdoor and public-facing events, this team knows what they are doing when it comes to mass participation and festival-style events. Working within a well-known space, the events range from public festivals to outdoor events and more! Due to growth within this busy and dedicated team, we are now supporting the hire of an experienced Project Manager.

The role

This role is critical within the team; as the lead Project Manager, you will be the lynchpin between all departments, stakeholders, and team members, bringing together processes, governance, and documentation. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, the role will lead on ensuring project timelines and key strategic goals are met, supporting all phases of event execution. Strategic planning and risk management are integral parts of the role, requiring a high level of communication.

About you

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a relevant degree and an understanding of project planning for large-scale events, working closely with traffic, security, and local authority/blue light services. Experience in strategic planning and project management of public-facing/sporting events would be a huge advantage, although we will also consider wider project management backgrounds. Experience and technical understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks would be an asset to this role.
