About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading UK construction company specializing in bespoke joinery solutions for various projects.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee joinery projects from start to finish, reporting to the Contracts Director, managing operational and commercial aspects, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.

You will also support business growth through networking and industry engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of joinery projects from pre-construction to client handover.
• Monitor budgets, track financial performance, and report on profit and loss.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams for smooth delivery.
• Review working drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure health & safety and regulatory compliance on sites.
• Support the Contracts Director in departmental strategic objectives.
• Attend site meetings, manage sub-contractors, oversee installation.
• Assist in tendering and commercial proposals.
• Experience in project management within construction or joinery industries.
• Understanding of bespoke joinery, workshop production, and installation.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong financial skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of tendering processes and commercial documentation.
• Relevant management or construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, NVQ, HNC).
