Keen to work with a National Mutli Disciplined Contractor with over 50 years of history delivering public and private sector projects across central Scotland? Willing to work in the East Lothian area for the duration of the project? If so, then this might be the role for you!!!

Overview

Are you a Project Manager with Main Contracting experience looking for your next move in the industry? Keen to work with a National Mutli Disciplined Contractor with over 50 years of history delivering public and private sector projects across central Scotland? Willing to work in the East Lothian area for the duration of the project? If so, then this might be the role for you!!!

Responsibilities

• As project manager you will be responsible for overseeing a new build project taking it from Pre Construction through to handover. The initial project will be £3 million in value but the next phases of work will take the scheme to circa £20 million total value.
• You will ensure that work carried out onsite are delivered on programme whilst maintaining the highest H&S Standards.
• You will monitor/update and manage your programme and forecast any issues to ensure continuous timescales for all sub contractors.
• Keep an eye on commercial spend along with the commercial team to ensure project is delivered on budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with a Main Contractor and have ideally delivered Industrial / Retail projects.
• Ideally educated to degree level within relevant subject (Construction Management / Civil Engineering etc) – trades will also be considered.
• Willing to work in the East Lothian area.
• Hold valid certifications such as SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid etc.
