We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our client’s team in Cambridge. The team works on hybrid working basis.

  • Contract: 6 months
  • Daily rate: £600 per day through umbrella
  • Hours:40, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced Transformational Change Project Manager to join our client's busy Portfolio Delivery team based in Cambridge!

About the role:

We are looking for a Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering transformational change initiatives to drive employee engagement and adoption of a new operating model that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.

This role requires a strong, dynamic leader with a background in change management, project management, and excellent stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, cross functional teams and departments to ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage change management strategies to support adoption of a new operating model.
  • Create comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring their buy-in and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and potential impacts.
  • Identifying potential risks and devising risk mitigation strategies to avoid delays and setbacks during project delivery
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, resolving issues and initiating corrective action and provide regular updates to project and business stakeholders.
  • Maintaining detailed project documentation, including reports, status updates, Project Initiation Document, plans and risk register.

Must have experience:

  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify problems, and devise effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing vendor and third-party relationships to ensure alignment with strategic goals, mitigate risks, and drive value.
  • Proven ability to lead IT transformation initiatives that align technology with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and support innovation.
