Project Manager – IT Systems & Integration

Location: Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot TQ13, UK
Job Type: 2 year fixed term contract
Job Status: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Salary: £38,626 - £42,708 per annum (pay award pending)

We are now seeking a proactive and technically confident Project Manager who will focus on our IT systems and integration. This individual will lead on a range of high-impact digital projects that will shape the future of how DNPA delivers our services.

The Role

You’ll lead on key technical projects—from modernising our planning case management system to launching a new public-facing website and implementing advanced data capture tools to support our work on public rights of way.

With each project, you’ll focus on integrating digital solutions that deliver efficiency, enhance service delivery, and align with our strategic goals. Working across departments and with third-party providers, you’ll ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

You will be working on:

- Digitising planning systems to reduce paper-based processes and streamline workflows
- Designing a new website to improve accessibility, usability, and service integration
- Implementing an asset management system to support infrastructure
- Developing a digital engagement and feedback platform to support public consultation and track the impact of our Partnership Plan

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on transformative digital projects with a lasting impact. You will shape how technology is used to enhance services for the communities on Dartmoor.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong track record in IT project delivery, confident managing multiple stakeholders and technical challenges, and passionate about modernising public services.

To join us as our Project Manager – IT Systems & Integration you will have:

- An ability to assess and recommend software solutions based on performance and cost-benefit analysis
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across a range of departments, build relationships and translate technical concepts for non-technical users
- Technical understanding of systems integration, data management, digital platforms, and process improvement
- An analytical mind, with excellent problem-solving skills

Evidence of project management training and qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) would support your application.

The post is based at the Dartmoor National Park Authority offices at Parke, Bovey Tracey.
