Position Details

This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099, or employment sponsorship (e.g., H1-B) for this position.

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry-driven solutions through our five core specialist practices: Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.

FDM is seeking a Project Manager (i-Star / Core) in New York City to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This role is initially for 12 months and will be hybrid, requiring presence in the New York or Jersey City office three days per week.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
  1. Documentation of current and proposed operational processes, applications, and workflows
  2. Manage and produce Business Requirements Documents
  3. Manage multiple projects in parallel, including managing your own project plans
  4. Work with Technology teams to ensure functional specifications meet business requirements
  5. Perform systems analysis and assist developers in translating requirements into technical solutions
  6. Coordinate testing across multiple areas, products, and regions
  7. Manage project issue and risk reporting, ensuring escalation when necessary
  8. Generate and present stakeholder reports for your projects
  9. Stay informed about new regulatory requirements and assess their impact on products and initiatives
  10. Contribute ideas and identify future projects for the group
  11. Research requirements for new business initiatives independently
  12. Build and maintain relationships with Operations, Business, and other stakeholders
  13. Program management and leadership of the project
