Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Liverpool City Centre on a Hybrid basis

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus potential of performance based bonus

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

As a Project Manager at The Acorn Group, you will play a crucial role in driving projects to success, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

At The Acorn Group, we are currently on a journey to become a fully cloud based tech platform. We have a large tech team based in the Albert Dock and have recently transitioned into Product verticals, enabling our multiple products to work autonomously. What you will be doing:

1. Lead project planning sessions and develop detailed project plans.
2. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
3. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
5. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
7. Report and escalate to management as needed.
8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
9. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
10. Host any appropriate internal governance to keep projects on track.
11. Attend and run daily standups.

What we're looking for:

1. Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the financial/Insurance sector.
2. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
3. Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
4. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software/tools.
5. Prince 2 - Agile foundation & practitioner certification is a plus.
6. Works well under pressure.
7. Great communicator & not afraid to make decisions.
