A leading project management firm in Newark is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Contracts Department. You will manage a team of engineers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project management experience and is comfortable with ERP systems.

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead our clients Contracts Department in Newark. You’ll oversee a team of engineers and coordinators, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You’ll collaborate across departments, manage client relationships, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational processes.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Contract type: Permanent role

Location: Newark

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage contract delivery from order to installation
  • Coordinate resources and support engineers and coordinators
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Oversee project scheduling, documentation, and reporting
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Visit sites as required
  • Chair weekly production meetings
The Candidate / Qualifications
  • 3 years of installations and project management
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills
  • Clear communication style with the ability to partner with all levels of the business
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Packages and ERP systems (Sage, Oracle, SAP etc.)
  • Health & Safety NEBOSH or IOSH Certified an advantage
  • Certifications: SMSTS / CSCS
  • Full UK driving license
