About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ICT & Accommodation Directorate. We are currently looking for a Project Manager (HR&Payroll/Systems) to join us here in the Manchester office. The purpose of this role is to lead on the specification and implementation of a HR and payroll system, including working with the suppliers on system configuration and set up for the HR and payroll systems.

As part of your role you will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the processes in HR and payroll in order to define and agree the requirements for new HR and payroll systems. You will develop process documentation across service areas relevant to HR & Payroll systems. You will be expected to matrix manage teams of across HR, Payroll, IT and MI along with third party suppliers to deliver work streams, whilst effectively managing any risks identified that may impact project delivery or outcomes.

The successful candidate will have demonstratable knowledge of core HR, Performance Management, Learning and Development and Recruitment modules in relation to systems. You will have proven experience of producing business cases and monitoring project budgets.
