Project Manager - Highways

Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: £80,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + Package (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering Highways projects? Our client, a well-established and respected construction company operating across multiple sectors, is looking for a talented Project Manager to join their team in Didcot. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role with a business that is integral to National Highways' supply chain.

Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of major highways schemes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your duties will include:

  • Leading project teams and managing all site operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and commercial reporting.
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
  • Driving project performance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications / About You
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Highways sector (essential).
  • Strong understanding of Highways England/National Highways standards and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to deliver complex projects successfully.
  • Based in or commutable to Didcot, Oxfordshire.
