Job Description:

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading global supplier of high voltage power transformers with project experience in over 70 countries.

Due to securing significant substation contracts with National Grid, they are looking for a Project Manager to focus on Project Delivery in their expanding UK team. The role involves managing the tendering, transport, installation, construction, and maintenance of power transformers.

Responsibilities:
  • Scoping, scheduling, and controlling the project throughout its lifecycle after handover from the sales team.
  • Leading communication with stakeholders, including subcontractors, HQ sales and commercial teams, factory teams, and customers.
  • Identifying issues and risks related to the project.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with customers and gathering their feedback.
  • Managing project documents, including design, quality, progress reports, and contractual deliverables.
  • Supporting tendering activities.
Your Profile:
  • An Electrical Engineering degree or a relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience in project management roles, preferably with National Grid or principal contractors, focusing on power transformers.
