Project Manager Leeds Tier 1 Contractor GBP70k - GBP75k + Car / Allowance + Health + Benefits Our client is a long established and reputable main contractor who work across multiple disciplines including commercial, leisure, mixed use developments, apartments and leisure.

The company have experienced impressive growth across all regions with margins also improving on a turnover exceeding GBP1bn.

The Northern region is benefiting from a number of recent project wins and to support this growth the company are looking to recruit a Project Manager to oversee all internal aspects of a large-scale residential development project based in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in delivering high-rise schemes or a capable Senior Site Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards are met while maintaining client satisfaction and effective team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the internal project team to successfully deliver the residential development
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met
  • Implement effective problem-solving strategies to mitigate risks and challenges that arise during construction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with high-rise residential developments
  • Alternatively, significant experience as a Senior Site Manager with a desire to step into a Project Manager position
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain productive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies, financial management, and project management software
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
