About TryHackMe

TryHackMe is a cyber security training company on a mission to make learning cyber security fun and accessible. We run a platform used by millions around the world, delivering interactive, hands-on training through our constantly expanding library of labs and projects.

We’re looking for a ruthlessly organised Project Manager to help drive one of our most ambitious initiatives: bringing five teams together to work on a complex project pioneering new training solutions. This is a 6-month freelance contract at ~20 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing

• Reporting directly to the Founder’s Associate and working across five teams to keep this complex project on track.
• Building and enforcing a clear system of accountability, ownership and communication.
• Chasing, nudging, and checking in with teams relentlessly to ensure deliverables are met on time.
• Creating a realistic timeline for categorising hundreds of THM rooms, and holding teams accountable to it.
• Facilitating collaboration and problem solving across AI, product, content, and engineering teams.
• Running regular progress updates with the Founder’s Associate.
• Using Notion (for documentation and tracking) and Slack (for communication) to keep everything organised.

About you

• You are ruthlessly organised. You always follow up, never let anything slip, and keep teams moving forward everyday.
• Strong ability to enforce timelines, chase progress, and hold senior stakeholders accountable.
• Experience managing multi-team or cross-functional projects, ideally in fast-paced tech environments and remote role.
• Comfortable holding senior team members accountable and chasing everyone for updates.
• Demonstrated success in building structured roadmaps and breaking down ambitious goals into actionable tasks and trackable milestones.
• Strong communicator.
• Some technical background or experience working with engineering/product/development teams.
• Freelance availability for ~20 hours per week, across a 6-month project.
• Fully remote, open to candidates worldwide.
• Proven experience managing multi-team or cross-functional projects in fast-paced technical environments.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in cyber security, EdTech, or AI-driven projects.
• Experience scaling operations or managing large libraries of content/products.
