SweetRush has an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join our Talent Solutions team!

Who We Are

SweetRush is a consulting, design, and staffing firm specializing in HR-related services that help foster life-centered businesses and organizations. Our work includes designing unique learning experiences using agency-level graphics and leading-edge technology; creating high-performing cultures, leaders, and teams; and helping our clients grow their learning teams with qualified professionals.

Many of our clients are household names with large international operations, while others are small nonprofits whose work we value as essential to the world. We try to balance the work we do for profit with the work we do to spread good things in the world.

SweetRush is a leader in the field of learning and development, making use of emerging technologies (like VR and AR), games, storytelling, chatbots, interactive virtual and in-person experiences, and so on, all while grounding our work in vibrant and impactful human-centered design. The many awards we win every year reflect the care we put into our craft and our collaborations with clients. We’ve been grateful to have won awards with Hilton, Google, Bridgestone, Adidas, SHRM, and numerous others.

We are a completely virtual, tight-knit, talented community that spans the globe, a culture-forward team that values diversity, respect, and caring. Our folks tend to stick around, as do our clients.

We like to think we stand apart from competitors for the uniqueness and innovation of everything we create—and for who we are. And we’re committed to hiring talent that’s as creative, innovative, and caring as everyone on our team. This is where you come in…

About the Role

We are looking for a key individual who can lend their proven skills as a Project Manager. SweetRush is truly a project management–focused company, and that focus has been the key to our success and winning our clients for life.

Using generative AI tools, you will be responsible for working closely with our clients and our team to oversee the creation and delivery of training materials that support our clients' business objectives and ongoing operations. The training solutions we provide are often blended, and most of them emphasize e-learning. Therefore, not only must you have experience with web-based and computer-based training, but you must also bring a real passion for online training and interactive technologies.

The Project Manager is a client liaison and project team lead who works with Learning Experience Designers, Graphic Designers, Technologists, Videographers, Copy Editors, and AI Prompt Engineers. They are responsible for the entire project scope, from inception to launch—both the “big picture” of the project and all the myriad day-to-day details. The Project Manager can identify, anticipate, and manage risks, which results in a smooth, efficient, on-time, and on-budget project experience.

This is a freelance, project-based opportunity for approximately 18-20 weeks, working 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the client relationship throughout the project, acting as the project “hub” and primary contact point
  • Setting and managing client expectations with the goal of achieving positive client/team interactions
  • Providing clients with education and alternatives when challenges arise during the project
  • Project status reporting, including risk management, budget tracking, change management, and issue tracking, and resolution
  • Designing and maintaining detailed project plans, including establishing realistic schedules and tracking key milestones and dependencies
  • Managing all project resources in terms of prioritizing tasks and ensuring effective handoff of dependent tasks
  • Managing contractors, including some who work virtually and in different time zones
  • Overseeing and owning the quality of all deliverables

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a client-facing Project Manager
  • Experience in the training field, preferably in eLearning
  • Expertise in driving digital media (ideally, eLearning) projects from preproduction to launch and in managing risks
  • Experience developing proposals, gathering estimates, and creating and tracking budgets
  • Experience setting priorities and managing resources, working on multiple projects
  • Previous experience working with remote team members
  • Preference for deadline-driven work that requires multitasking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong knowledge of Internet technologies and solutions
  • Some (even minimal) hands-on internet and multimedia production skills
  • Detail-oriented, with an orientation toward copy editing, quality assurance, and experience with AI in learning and development
  • Fluency with Google Suite, Microsoft Projects, and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Gemini AI
  • Respectful, positive, approachable attitude, and a positive outlook on life (a “glass half full” type of person)
  • A true interest and passion for advancing technology, learning, and development, clients and colleagues alike
