Job description

Thrive Group is pleased to be working with a market-leading company based in Frome, actively seeking to hire a Project Manager on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding development, optimisation, and improvement projects from brief to launch.
  • Coordinate between all departments to ensure smooth launch of new products or changes in the factory.
  • Manage end-to-end packaging development, including process and legal checks, from development and design to sign-off for projects and legal updates.
  • Organise industrial trials, communicate results, and follow up on actions and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with production, quality, legal, and customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in FMCG, Food manufacturing, Food transformation, or NPD.
  • Confident communicator capable of leading customer meetings.
  • Flexible working hours and willingness to travel to client sites.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Educational background in food technology or food science (ideally a degree).
