Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional, experienced & motivated Project/Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of a Portfolio of finance application projects across Europe. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle for multiple platform / functional implementations including Business Central, Supply Chain, Anaplan FP&A and e-invoicing compliance ensuring that solutions align with business objectives, enhanced financial operations and benefits delivery.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for multiple finance system implementations, upgrades, and integrations within a defined portfolio, from initial concept and planning through to execution, monitoring, and successful go-live.
  • Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders and IT teams to define clear project scope, objectives, deliverables, and measurable success criteria across the portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and meticulous budget management for the entire portfolio of projects.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues at both the individual project and portfolio levels, ensuring timely resolution and transparent communication to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and foster strong collaboration among finance users, IT developers, external vendors, and other project participants involved in the portfolio.
  • Oversee and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases across multiple projects, ensuring that all delivered solutions meet defined business requirements and are fit for operational use.
  • Drive robust change management activities, including the development and delivery of training programs, and strategies to ensure high user adoption of new finance systems across the portfolio.
  • Provide regular, accurate, and concise reports on project status, progress, and performance at the portfolio level to senior management and key project stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and sequence projects within the portfolio based on strategic value, resource availability, and interdependencies.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization across all projects in the portfolio.

Qualifications

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Well-established, progressive experience in project management, with a significant and demonstrable track record in delivering finance systems
  • Proven ability to manage complex IT projects, specifically within a financial systems context.
  • Business Central, Supply Chain, and e-Invoicing experience would be highly advantageous.
  • A good understanding of core financial processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable)
  • Proficiency in various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and relevant project management software tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and business teams.
  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Direct experience with UAT coordination, user training, and organizational change management.

Additional Information

This role is working as part of the Europe Regional team, and so can be based out of any of our regional offices. Occassional buisness travel will be required to our Head Office in the UK.
