Job description

Join Tecna's Creative Journey as a Project Manager!

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 8FF

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience.

Hours: Full-Time / Permanent,

Start Date: Immediate

At Tecna, we’re expanding, and we’re on the lookout for talented Project Managers to join our dynamic Projects team at our Farnborough headquarters. If you’re an ambitious, confident self-starter ready to be part of a growing creative company, this full-time, permanent position could be the perfect fit for you.

As a Project Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with our Technical Designers and Operations team to bring stunning exhibition displays to life. Using designs from our Creative and Sales teams, you’ll manage the client's journey with Tecna, ordering parts and materials, booking labour and amenities and ensuring a smooth seamless delivery for our clients.

No two projects are the same, and every day brings fresh, exciting challenges. If you’re passionate about design, eager to tackle new problems, and ready to make an impact, Tecna UK could be your next great opportunity.

Why Tecna?

  • Join an innovative, forward-thinking company shaping extraordinary display experiences.
  • Work on exciting, one-of-a-kind projects that push creative boundaries.
  • Be part of a growing team where your skills and ambition will thrive.

If you’re ready to take on a role where every day is different and your work truly matters, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Work alongside Technical Designers to ensure all technical drawings, pick-lists, and cut-files are produced on-time.
  • Liaise with our key suppliers and in-house procurement team to ensure all framework, graphics and amenities are ordered on-time in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Liaise with the Operations team to ensure all displays are pre-built, installed and dismantled on-time and to spec.
  • Gather all necessary information and input this into our CRM systems.
  • Attend site regularly to oversee project delivery and perform handovers with clients.
  • Protect and report on profit margins, ensuring we are as cost-effective as possible whilst also highlighting areas for improvement in the future.
  • Ensure the client has a worry-free, enjoyable, faultless experience with Tecna that leaves them excited to work with us again!

What We're Looking For

  • Great organisational skills, multi-tasking skills, and a sense of urgency
  • Previous history of using work-management platforms such as Monday.com
  • An ability to use 3D CAD software at a basic level (desirable but not essential, training on SketchUp can be provided)
  • A history of client-management
  • An ability to problem-solve, be reactive, and thrive under pressure
  • An ability to use your own initiative
  • High attention to detail
  • An ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Experience in the exhibition industry is preferable, but by no means essential as all training will be provided

Perks You’ll Love

  • Enjoy the convenience of free on-site parking—no more stressful searches for a spot!
  • Prioritise your health with comprehensive Bupa healthcare coverage.
  • Secure your future with our company pension scheme.
  • Take time to recharge with a generous 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays!
  • Join us for regular, fun-filled company events!
  • Make a difference with dedicated paid days for charity work and group community projects
