Job Title: Project Manager – EPC Solar & BESS

Location: Multiple roles across the UK: South West, South East, Midlands, North East, Scotland

Type: Permanent

About the Role:

Seeking experienced Project Managers to lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects through the full EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) lifecycle. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of solar PV & BESS projects from development to commissioning and handover
• Oversee EPC execution, including design reviews, procurement, and construction management
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and progress to meet milestones and KPIs
• Lead risk assessments, mitigation, and ensure HSE compliance
• Report project status to senior management and stakeholders
• Promote safety, quality, and performance culture on-site and across teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience in delivering solar and/or BESS EPC projects, preferably utility-scale
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction in renewable energy
• Excellent planning, budgeting, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interface with clients and contractors
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with HSE legislation and practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
