Job Title: Project Manager – EPC Solar & BESS

Location: Multiple roles across the UK including South West, South East, Midlands, North East, and Scotland

Type: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects through the full EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) lifecycle. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of solar PV & BESS projects from development to commissioning and handover to operations
• Oversee all aspects of EPC execution, including engineering design reviews, procurement, and construction management
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth project execution
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and progress to meet milestones and KPIs
• Lead risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
• Report project status regularly to senior management and stakeholders
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and performance excellence

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering solar and/or BESS EPC projects, ideally utility-scale
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction practices in renewable energy
• Excellent planning, budgeting, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interface with clients and contractors
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with HSE legislation and best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
