• Familiarity with relevant HSE legislation and best practices.

Job Title: Project Manager – EPC Solar & BESS

South West / South East / Midlands / North East / Scotland

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects through the full EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of solar PV & BESS projects from development handover through to commissioning and handover to operations
• Oversee all aspects of EPC execution, including engineering design reviews, procurement coordination, and construction management
• Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress, ensuring milestones and KPIs are achieved
• Lead risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations
• Report regularly on project status to senior management and stakeholders
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and performance excellence on-site and across teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering solar and/or BESS EPC projects, ideally utility-scale
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction practices within the renewable energy sector
• Excellent project planning, budgeting, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interface with clients and contractors
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with relevant HSE legislation and best practices

• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
