Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for an engineering manufacturer in Leeds. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering a chance to lead complex projects from plan to delivery while prioritising Health & Safety and keeping customers informed.

Project Manager - Engineering Manufacturer

Location: Leeds

If you're someone who enjoys steering complex projects from plan to delivery-while prioritising Health & Safety and keeping customers fully informed-this is a great opportunity to make an impact. This is a 3-month contract (with the possibility of extension).

What you'll be doing:

• Role model positive Health & Safety behaviours and help embed a strong safety culture through observation, intervention, and safety walks
• Take overall ownership of project deliverables: hardware, financial/commercial outputs, quality documentation, dispute management, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery
• Support the sales team by helping ensure tenders are prepared timely and professionally
• Evaluate customer requirements to ensure the right service/product and pricing are proposed
• Ensure tenders meet commercial guidelines and are signed off in line with delegation of authority
• Drive project profitability, ensure on-time launch, and run effective kick-off meetings with complete handover documentation
• Prepare quality documentation and customer quality plans
• Coordinate with procurement and operations to secure required refurbished/bought-out parts in line with timelines
• Build strong cross-functional and customer/supplier relationships to reduce commercial risk
• Attend client site meetings and provide proactive job-status communication
