Job Description:

NEW POSITION: Due to successful growth and contracts, our client near Heathrow seeks an experienced project manager to oversee electrical & mechanical engineering projects at Heathrow from start to finish.

You will lead a team of engineers, support the customer, manage multiple contracts, and possess a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background.

You should provide high-level support to the engineering team, ensure smooth project execution, and hold regular meetings with the customer as needed. Collaboration with the projects administrator on budgets, risk reports, and planning is essential.

Responsibilities include ordering parts, training staff, planning resources, and sourcing contract staff when required.

You will manage end-to-end projects within Heathrow airport, liaising with senior management on timelines and progress, overseeing health & safety compliance, procurement negotiations, and ensuring standards are met.

Previous experience in project management within engineering for an airport or similar industry is preferred. Excellent communication skills at all levels and a full 5-year checkable work history are required for an airside pass.
