Operations Engineering Manager - North

Salary: £42,500.00 - £49,000.00

Location: Covering Locations North UK

How you’ll power our business as an Operations Engineering Manager - North

Reporting to the Head of Operations Engineering, the Operations Engineering Managers will play a key role in the development of Flogas’ network of Operational sites, improving process safety, personal safety, operational resilience and upgrading sites to Target Plant. Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions by helping them make the switch from oil to gas.

We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. What we’ll need from you:

1. Deliver projects safely, with a zero incident & near miss target, ensuring any incidents or near misses are investigated and lessons applied to future projects (Operations & Customer Projects).
2. Ensure projects are enacted with all relevant safety compliance met, e.g. Legislative, CDM, Flogas Standards, SOP’s, WIs & Guidance.
3. Build links with local depots to assist with breakdowns and liaise with Technical Engineering.
4. Ensure projects are implemented within the company’s governance requirements.
5. Define scope of projects and agree with stakeholders.
6. Deliver projects within scope, ensuring any variations to scope are understood, agreed with relevant parties, and suitably documented.
