Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex technical, engineering, product development, or R&D projects.
• Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with ambitious delivery timelines.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple engineering, technology development, and R&D projects from concept through prototype delivery.
• Drive project execution by managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and priorities.
• Enable rapid customer response and prototype development through agile project planning and execution.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Commercial Teams, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions to ensure successful delivery.
• Establish clear project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Support the evaluation and prioritization of new customer opportunities and technology initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the development of efficient project management practices.
• Support the transition of successful research and development projects into formal product development programs.

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager Engineer to join our newly established Rapid Response Team (RRT) and Advanced Development (AD) organization within our Aerospace, Defense & Marine business. This is a unique opportunity to lead innovative engineering and technology development projects that directly impact our customers and future product portfolio. You will play a key role in accelerating innovation, driving rapid prototyping initiatives, and supporting the development of next‑generation technologies. Working at the intersection of engineering, research, and customer solutions, you will lead cross‑functional teams to transform ideas into prototypes and enable faster delivery of innovative solutions to market.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple engineering, technology development, and R&D projects from concept through prototype delivery.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex technical, engineering, product development, or R&D projects.
• Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments with competing priorities and ambitious delivery timelines.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, Defense, Advanced Manufacturing, Marine, Automotive, or related industry experience.
• Familiarity with product development, prototyping, and engineering design processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as machining, assembly, additive manufacturing, or rapid prototyping.
• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or other Project Management certifications.
