Job summary

Teledyne Energetics UK seeks a Project Manager to lead technical product development for demanding customer specifications in Lincoln. You will manage timelines, budgets, and cross‑functional teams to deliver on schedule and within scope.

You will collaborate with customers and engineering to plan resources, and support bids and manufacturing transitions, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project-management experience on highly technical, critically dependent projects.
• Experience working with demanding, high-profile customers (OEMs).
• Experience delivering technical proposals.
• Relevant professional project-management qualification and at least five years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a high performing Project Manager, delivering projects on time and within budgets.
• Maintain relationships with Customers and the Key Account Manager to meet outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to plan resources and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with procurement/supply-chain to align with delivery schedules.
• Deploy robust project plans using best practice and proactive risk management.
• Support transition of new products into manufacturing.
• Contribute to bid proposals for onboarding new programmes.
• Provide accurate reporting, budgeting and revenue projections for projects.
• Manage risk mitigation and timely escalations to reduce uncertainty.
• Mentor junior team members and champion process improvements.

What We Are Looking For

This is a Project Management role within a growing team, responsible for delivering technical product development to challenging customer specifications and timescales. The successful candidate will demonstrate industry best practice, effective use of project management tools and a successful track record of delivering technical projects on time and in full.

Role & Responsibilities

• Be a high performing Project Manager, working within time and resource constraints to deliver projects on time and to agreed budgets.
• Work directly with Customers and the Key Account Manager to maintain good relationships and ensure expectations and agreed outcomes are met.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to plan engineering and compliance resources, resolve conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Work with procurement/supply‑chain teams to forward‑plan and order material, equipment and services in accordance with delivery schedules and project plans.
• Deploy highly effective project plans using PM best practice, challenging roadblocks to ensure success. Lateral thinking is mandatory.
• Support the effective transition of new products into steady‑state manufacturing.
• Assist in bid proposal support for onboarding new programmes and projects.
• Support accurate reporting, budget forecasting and detailed revenue projections for project delivery.
• Manage risk mitigation plans and effective escalations within the business to resolve project uncertainty.
• Champion site‑wide improvements for project management and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated project‑management experience on highly technical, critically dependent projects, with the ability to resolve ambiguous situations.
• Experience working with demanding, high‑profile customers (OEMs).
• Experience delivering technical proposals.
• Relevant professional project‑management qualification and at least five years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of EPM tools and ASC 606 accounting methodology, preferably with SAP S4.
• Some familiarity with ISO 9001 is an advantage.
