We give you the autonomy to innovate, take ownership, and make agile, informed decisions. If you’re looking for an environment where you can truly stretch your capabilities, grow professionally, and make a real impact - we want to hear from you.

Reporting to the Contract Services Manager, you will take the lead on delivering a range of Fire Systems projects as part of our long-term partnership with Transport for London (TfL). You’ll be responsible for defining project goals and deliverables, managing budgets, tracking progress against schedules, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work remotely, while maintaining a presence in our Canning Town office 2–3 days per week.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage multiple minor works projects under our Fire Maintenance Contract for TfL
  • Prepare and submit quotes for minor works
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective material procurement
  • Develop and oversee logistics plans to meet project delivery timelines
  • Produce and maintain key project documentation and records
  • Lead change control processes and ensure all variations are recorded and communicated
  • Organise and facilitate key project meetings, including kick-offs, design reviews, and close-out sessions
Who You Are:

You are a results-driven Project Manager with proven experience delivering fire-related projects. You thrive in client-facing roles and are confident managing stakeholders and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience managing fire systems projects
  • Experience delivering a programme of works valued at £1M+ per annum
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • A recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince2, APM, PMP)
  • Prior experience with London Underground (LUL) or TfL projects is highly desirable
What we offer:

A career at Telent can span many sectors, roles, technologies and clients, giving you the opportunity to develop, learn new skills, and make an impact. We are growing and rely on our committed team to deliver.

We nurture talent through our ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive culture that respects and values differences and celebrates diverse ideas. We want everyone to feel they can be themselves and thrive at work.

  • Car Allowance
  • 34 days holiday, including public holidays, with options to buy or sell days annually OR 26 days holiday plus public holidays, with options to buy or sell days annually
