Project Manager - Empowering Innovation and Autonomy (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Exeter

Reporting to the Contract Services Manager, you will lead the delivery of Fire Systems projects as part of our long-term partnership with Transport for London (TfL). Responsibilities include defining project goals, managing budgets, tracking progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

This role offers a hybrid working model with flexibility to work remotely and in our Canning Town office 2–3 days per week.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage multiple minor works projects under our Fire Maintenance Contract for TfL
  • Prepare and submit quotes for minor works
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials
  • Develop logistics plans to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain project documentation and records
  • Lead change control processes and communicate variations
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, reviews, and close-outs
Who You Are:

A results-driven Project Manager with proven experience in fire-related projects, comfortable managing stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience managing fire systems projects
  • Delivering a programme of works valued at £1M+ per year
  • Strong commercial and financial skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince2, APM, PMP)
  • Experience with London Underground (LUL) or TfL projects is highly desirable
