Job Title: Project Manager – Embankment Stabilisation (TFL Project)

Location: North West London

Rate: £450–£550 per day (DOE)

Duration: 2 Years

Start Date: Mid August

Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in embankment stabilisation for a long-term infrastructure project on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) in North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a major civil engineering scheme from early stages through to completion, with an expected duration of two years.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and deliver embankment stabilisation works in line with TfL standards and safety regulations
  2. Lead the project team and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
  3. Monitor progress, budgets, and quality standards to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  5. Liaise with TfL representatives, local authorities, and third parties as required
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing embankment stabilisation or geotechnical projects
  • Background in infrastructure or rail-related works, with previous TfL experience
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management
  • SMSTS, CSCS, LU-ICI, PTS certifications
