Adecco Permanent Recruitment is recruiting Project Manager Electrical Infrastructure (OHL)About Our ClientOur client is a well-established European engineering company specialising in the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical and telecom infrastructures, with a strong presence in the UK. They partner with major network operators to deliver critical Overhead Line (OHL) projects, combining technical excellence, safety-first culture, and a commitment to sustainable progress.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead complex Overhead Line (OHL) projects from mobilisation to successful delivery. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project execution, team leadership, and client-facing communication in a safety-critical environment. Key Responsibilities - Oversee OHL projects from pre-construction through to completion.- Supervise and support site teams and site supervisors, including regular site visits.- Identify potential risks and coordinate with construction and design teams to implement effective solutions.- Monitor project milestones and produce detailed progress reports for internal teams and clients.- Review and sign off weekly site documentation and ensure timely flow of project information.- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring drawings, approvals, and H&S documentation are in place.- Conduct post-project reviews, including performance analysis of subcontractors and suppliers.- Directly manage team members (performance, recruitment, disciplinary procedures).- Ensure delivery on time, within scope and on budget, using recognised project management methodologies.- Maintain accurate project documentation and apply change control when needed.- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.- Monitor risk and implement effective mitigation strategies.Key Performance Indicators - Delivery within budget, meeting gross margin targets- Effective cost control and change management- Client satisfaction and quality of project executionWhat Were Looking For - Proven experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure or utility works, ideally in OHL projects- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills- Strong organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); MS Project desirable- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards- Strong commercial awareness and decision-making capabilitiesPreferred Qualifications - Degree or higher qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (desirable)- Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP (desirable)Whats on Offer - Start Date August 2025 (earlier possible)- Flights First flight to the UK covered by the company, with repayment over 16 months depending on cost- Visa & Health Surcharge Fully paid by the company under a sponsorship agreement- English Language Test Covered by the company as part of the sponsorship process- Accommodation Shared accommodation provided (inclusive of utilities) for the first 6 months; relocation support thereafter- Vehicle Company car provided for the first 6 months, followed by a car allowance- Working Hours 40 hours per week- Holiday Entitlement 28 days per year including public holidays (pro rata); increases with length of service- Pension Scheme Auto-enrolment with 3% employer and 5% employee contributions
