Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager - Electricalto join our Building Services Team located in London.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager responsible for the project, you will effectively and professionally lead the day-to-day management, within a large scale multi-disciplinary commercial project, the specific scope discipline including, design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover, within the Skanska JV building construction team. Whilst ensuring the delivery to time, commercial performance, governance, and Skanska values are met during all phases of the project’s delivery to the satisfaction of the client.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs and carbon.
  • Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensures full implementation and compliance.
  • Ensure lessons learnt are captured and shared with the wider business for consideration on future projects.
  • Understand/ develop/ scrutinise/ deliver/ monitor end to end programme. Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering within a team large scale MEP contract.
  • Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS
  • Proven track record in leading teams and projects
