Job description

Char.gy

We are a leading charge point provider and operator for electric vehicles in the UK, managing over 5,000 public charge points. We believe our employees are the electric spark igniting our success. We’re dedicated to our culture, and ensure that every individual feels charged up and empowered to accelerate their career which is why we have been recognised as a "Great Place to Work" and a "Living Wage Employer". Together, we’re shaping the future as society’s preferred EV charging network.

Delivery Overview

In 2026 Char.gy expects to continue to be awarded multiple contracts with Local Government organisations and private landlords to deploy Charging Points (CPs) across the UK and ultimately expect to deploy 100,000 CPs by 2031. • Manage ICP and IDNO partners delivering the contestable works, holding them to programme, cost and DNO-adoptable design and quality standards
  • Plan and secure the consents that gate delivery – highway authority permits and street works notices, Section 50 licences, traffic management and landowner approvals – and build the associated lead times into the baseline programme
  • Own health, safety and quality on site under CDM 2015, holding installation contractors to approved RAMS and ensuring assets are commissioned and handed over with complete records
