Job summary

The Trust's strategic focus is on creating a digital environment that simplifies processes, enhances collaboration, and allows staff to focus on delivering high-quality care without unnecessary administrative burdens or inefficient systems.

Our Electronic Health Record (EHR) support services within the Digital division aim to establish a more integrated team, improving collaboration and communication between EHR-facing teams, thereby enhancing the support provided to frontline staff.

A Digital Project Management Office (PMO) has been introduced to better manage the division's complex projects, supporting effective delivery of digital projects, programmes, and workstreams within Trust initiatives.

Main duties of the job

1. Provide project management to the Digital Department, collaborating across the Digital Directorate and with external stakeholders.
2. Establish and maintain effective working relationships across SABP, delivering digital projects and workstreams within approved programmes.
3. Use appropriate project management methodologies to manage projects from inception to completion.
4. Plan and coordinate the delivery of digital projects, developing project plans to meet key milestones.
5. Handle highly complex information, understand interdependencies, and conduct contentious conversations regarding delivery status.
6. Facilitate high-level discussions, visioning, and problem-solving sessions with clear objectives and outcomes.
7. Support technical teams and the wider Digital Directorate with planning, implementation, progress reporting, and presentations.
