Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting for a Project Manager – Design Delivery to oversee the delivery of complex engineering design packages across Nuclear New Build. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedules and budgets, and ensure high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

You will coordinate engineers, suppliers and clients, maintain delivery momentum, and participate in bids and mobilisations where opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary design delivery within structured engineering lifecycles.
• Proven ability to manage design scopes, schedules, budgets and acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Lead or support multidisciplinary design delivery across AtkinsRéalis projects and embedded client programmes.
• Define and manage design scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate engineering disciplines, clients, suppliers, and project interfaces to support integrated project delivery.
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, changes, dependencies, technical queries, and corrective actions.
• Support design reviews, assurance activities, approvals, and configuration control processes to maintain quality and compliance.
• Provide clear and accurate reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders, while contributing to bids, proposals, and mobilisation activities where opportunities arise.
