Project Manager - Design
Plymouth
£37,000 - £42,000 + 33 days holiday + Bonus + Flexi time + Professional development funds

A great opportunity has just become live with one of our Plymouth based clients, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating NPI projects and installing a continuous improvement culture across the department.

The Role:

  • Plan, coordinate, and track NPI projects.
  • Work closely with other teams in order to develop and implement a capacity planning method for the NPI process.
  • Continually look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of relevant processes.
  • Establish a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within the NPI process.
  • Work with the business to plan future requirements based on forecasted demand and analysis.
  • Daily and monthly monitoring and reporting of the NPI process.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in an NPI / Project Management position.
  • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a high precision environment, such as Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport.
  • Strong understanding of project management techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to lead a project from initiation through to delivery.
  • Ability to use CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, would be beneficial.
