Job summary

Avanda Group AG is seeking a Project Manager in London to drive delivery coordination for a Quantitative Investment Strategies trading platform. The role centers on unifying hands-on engineering, platform and business teams to accelerate delivery across the program.

Three days on-site per week, a long-term commitment, and frequent demos to senior sponsors are expected as you translate complex constraints into clear, actionable plans and manage dependencies across teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on implementation or engineering background is essential.
• Proven delivery of trading platforms or complex technical software programs.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams without formal line authority.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Python-heavy environments, distributed systems, and KDB.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery coordination across interdependent teams with no direct line authority.
• Define and enforce what 'done' means with each engineering team.
• Sort out test environments ensuring end-to-end validation.
• Track every in-flight workstream across the QIS platform scope.
• Demonstrate working software weekly to senior stakeholders.
• Identify cross-team dependencies early and drive resolution.

Our client, aleading global investment bank is scaling its Quantitative InvestmentStrategies trading platform.

The opportunity isto significantly accelerate platform delivery. Multiple teams are workingacross the platform simultaneously : quant developers, platform engineers,infrastructure, IT and business and the goal is to make that collaboration moreefficient, more coherent and faster.

The business has strong momentum and is looking for the right person to connectthe dots between these teams and turn that momentum into consistent,demonstrable delivery.

This position is open in London, 3 days on-site/week, long-term commitment.

Responsibilities :

• Own delivery coordinationacross interdependent teams (quant developers, platform engineers,infrastructure, IT and business stakeholders) with no direct lineauthority
