Project Manager – Data Migration & Book Closure - Contract - London Specialty Markets - 600 p/d Inside IR35

Description:

A specialty Insurance company in London are looking for a contract Project Manager with proven experience in the London Specialty Insurance Markets to lead key projects involving data migration and the closure of legacy books of business. The role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition of data from legacy systems and the compliant wind-down of historical underwriting portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the planning and delivery of a data migration project across underwriting and operational systems

Manage closure of books of business, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and appropriate documentation

Liaise with IT, underwriting, compliance, and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution

Track project milestones, manage risks/issues, and report to key stakeholders and governance forums

Ensure alignment with market regulations and internal data governance standards

Key Requirements:

Strong background in project management within the London insurance or Lloyd’s market

Demonstrated experience with data migration and book closure projects.
