Job Description

Due to an expanding portfolio, our Industrial, Sciences and Technology team in London is looking to appoint Senior Project Managers to join our Data Centre team.

As a Project Manager, you will support large-scale, ground-up data centre construction projects with our prominent technology clients across Europe. The role will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, from inception through to commissioning.

Key Accountabilities

• Advising at a strategic level during project conception, including approaches to achieve client objectives.
• Establishing success criteria for time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
• Managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Establishing project governance, processes, and systems.
• Project planning and detailed scheduling.
• Resource procurement advice.
• Leading cross-functional project teams.
• Monitoring performance using KPIs.
• Managing change control processes.
• Overseeing project finances.
• Facilitating communication between team and client.
• Producing project reports and interfacing with stakeholders.

Internal Management Responsibilities

• Staff management where appropriate.
• Knowledge management and documentation.
• Financial management including invoicing and monitoring.
• Process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction consultancy preferred.
• 3-5+ years project management experience, ideally in digital/data centres.
• Professional qualification in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture.
• Chartered status or working towards it.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
• Design, management, or construction experience in related environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
