OVERVIEW

We are on the look out for 2 project managers to be responsible for the full management of planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial furniture projects. This includes working alongside all internal stakeholders, external project teams, and warehouse/installation partners to ensure smooth on-site operations and the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.Working for one of the fastest-growing commercial furniture dealership in the UK, known for design-led projects and creating unique design schemes tailored to client needs. Based in Clerkenwell, the team works in close collaboration with creatives and construction professionals, fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and friendly work environment.

  • Organise project handovers with internal teams and project consultants.
  • Arrange and conduct detailed site surveys.
  • Coordinate delivery dates and communicate with on-site teams and project stakeholders, including coordinating trades for furniture installation.
  • Inform installation teams and warehouse partners of upcoming work and schedule in advance.
  • Keep internal CRM systems updated for accurate reporting.
  • Ensure internal project paperwork (e.g., quotations) matches architectural/general arrangement plans.
  • Ensure suppliers provide correct paperwork (acknowledgements), chase delivery dates, and track revisions as needed.
  • Liaise with on-site teams regarding setting-out drawings, floor box positioning, and coordination between furniture and joinery.
  • Brief installation teams using picklists and floor plans.
  • Monitor delivery and order confirmation inboxes daily; process incoming documents promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other in-house teams (e.g., Project Managers, Technical Designers, Site Managers, Directors).
  • Coordinate with any third-party stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Maintain high standards on site, manage installation teams, oversee progress, and support with project-related queries.
  • Attend site meetings to provide progress updates and review technical details for product sign-off.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client after handover, ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Record installation outcomes including snagging issues, damages, incidents, client feedback, and supplier performance.
  • Address snagging issues promptly and cost-effectively, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Introduce client support contacts post-delivery for any additional orders or ongoing requirements.
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Assist office teams with scheduling installation or internal furniture moves.
  • Provide support to other project managers when resources allow (subject to approval).
