Project Manager, Corporate Transformation & Change

We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver complex cross-council, cross-organisational, and departmental transformation projects. The role involves working closely with corporate sponsors, service leads, and senior stakeholders, contributing to the Transformation and Change Group. This is a demanding position suited for an individual experienced in managing complex projects within a local authority environment.

The strategic projects focus on social care, early help and prevention, resident services, and operational transformation within a broad partnership system. Candidates should have a general understanding of this context.

Position Details:

  • Salary: £42,708 - £47,754 per annum
  • Type: Fixed Term
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Hours: 37 per week
  • Location: County Hall, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP
  • Working arrangements: Hybrid

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively and empathetically.
  • Develop governance structures that facilitate decision-making and project progression.
  • Summarize complex information and develop workstreams to achieve project goals.
  • Establish risk management strategies to mitigate issues and guide project delivery.
  • Monitor progress against project plans, ensuring milestones are met and escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager and departmental colleagues on business case development.
  • Lead and develop project support staff.
