Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager for our Central London office to deliver high-quality client projects from inception to completion. You will be part of the occupier fit-out team, providing leadership and support across major projects.

Responsibilities include defining scope, governance and plans, managing budgets and timelines, and maintaining strong client and consultant relationships throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level.
• Construction/property related academic qualification.
• Professionally qualified or working towards a professional qualification in construction, PM, engineering, surveying or architecture.
• Experience delivering CAT B office fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with client and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans; monitor progress, performance and risks.
• Manage budget, resources, invoicing and reporting.
• Establish project governance, ensure quality, safety, health and environment standards.
• Coordinate with client, project team and consultants throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular updates; highlight issues and recommendations.
• Ensure delivery meets client expectations and learn from projects.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our expanding team in our office in Central London. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects for our clients, from inception to completion. You will be part of Turner & Townsend’s occupier fit out team and provide support on major Project Management

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Define the project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables, in consultation with the client and other stakeholders
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, health, and environment standards
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, and monitor and control the project progress, performance, and risks
• Manage the project budget and resources, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and reporting
• Communicate and coordinate with the project team, the client, and other consultants, throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports, highlighting achievements, issues, and recommendationsLead and facilitate the resolution of any problems or conflicts that may arise during the project
• Ensure the delivery of the project outcomes, meeting or exceeding the client’s expectations and satisfaction
• Share and apply the best practices and lessons learned from each project, and contribute to the improvement of our products and services

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Educated to degree level
• Holder of a construction/property related academic qualification (this could be your degree)
• Ideally professionally qualified (or working towards a professional qualification) in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture
• Experience in delivering CAT B office fit-out projects, preferably in a consultancy environment
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deliver under pressure
• A passion for delivering high-quality and innovative solutions for our clients
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
