Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to join its Central London team, delivering high-quality occupier fit-out projects from inception to completion. You will work within the occupier fit out group, coordinating with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure objectives are met on time and to budget.

The role requires a degree and relevant construction/PM qualifications, with strong planning, budgeting and stakeholder management skills to drive project success in a busy

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with relevant construction or property focus.
• Experience delivering CAT B office fit-out projects, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Excellent project management, planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with client and stakeholders.
• Establish governance, processes and systems compliant with quality, safety, health and environment standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and monitor progress, risks and performance.
• Manage budget and resources, ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting.
• Coordinate with project team, client and consultants across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular updates and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Lead resolution of issues and conflicts ensuring client satisfaction.
• Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our expanding team in our office in Central London. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects for our clients, from inception to completion. You will be part of Turner & Townsend’s occupier fit out team and provide support on major Project Management

Responsibilities

• Define the project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables, in consultation with the client and other stakeholders
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, health, and environment standards
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, and monitor and control the project progress, performance, and risks
• Manage the project budget and resources, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and reporting
• Communicate and coordinate with the project team, the client, and other consultants, throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports, highlighting achievements, issues, and recommendations
• Lead and facilitate the resolution of any problems or conflicts that may arise during the project
• Ensure the delivery of the project outcomes, meeting or exceeding the client’s expectations and satisfaction
• Share and apply the best practices and lessons learned from each project, and contribute to the improvement of our products and services

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level
• Holder of a construction/property related academic qualification (this could be your degree)
• Ideally professionally qualified (or working towards a professional qualification) in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture
• Experience in delivering CAT B office fit-out projects, preferably in a consultancy environment
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deliver under pressure
• A passion for delivering high-quality and innovative solutions for our clients
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
