The Job Mission
This role drives the re-licensing strategy and post-construction legacy planning at HPC.
You’ll lead stakeholder engagement, DCO alignment, and long-term site reinstatement.
Your future team will ensure regulatory readiness and strategic closure of land use.
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline
8+ years’ experience managing complex construction or regulated projects
Experience with stakeholder engagement, NSL or regulatory application processes
Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and infrastructure planning frameworks
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage cross-functional project delivery
Ability to influence decision-makers and manage regulators effectively
Strong organisational, political sensitivity, and risk management skills
Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with DCO planning applications or legacy strategy development
Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and reinstatement planning in infrastructure projects
Proven negotiation experience with public authorities or statutory consultees
Experience working in matrix teams or large multidisciplinary project environments
Knowledge of French language is beneficial
