NES Fircroft is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead onshore energy and construction projects from early concept through engineering, procurement, construction and close-out, in Aberdeen with hybrid working.

Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will act as the primary interface between Division Directors and project delivery teams to ensure safety, schedule, cost and quality targets are met.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
• Proven PM experience in engineering consultancy, EPC/EPCM, energy operator or major construction.
• Experience delivering engineering/construction projects through all phases.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, planning and scheduling.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and interfacing with clients, vendors and contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness with contracts and procurement knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of onshore energy and construction projects from early concept and study phases through engineering, procurement, construction and close-out.

Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Project Manager will act as the primary interface between Division Directors and the project delivery organisation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for Division Directors on all project and proposal activities.
• Lead the planning and delivery of projects across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and studies through to execution and close-out.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering, project controls and support teams to ensure project success.
• Manage project performance against scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Prepare and present weekly forecasts, progress reports and project performance updates.
• Ensure effective management of risks, opportunities, changes and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide oversight of early-phase studies and support Study Managers where appointed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Chair project meetings and ensure effective governance, reporting and decision-making processes.
• Support proposal development, tender submissions, business development activities and client presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations and project governance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned and benefits realisation across projects.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Proven Project Management experience within an engineering consultancy, EPC/EPCM contractor, energy operator or major construction environment.
• Demonstrated experience delivering engineering and construction projects through all project phases.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, planning and scheduling principles.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing interfaces with clients, vendors and contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness with a sound understanding of contracts and procurement processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

• Experience within the oil & gas, renewables, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Professional Project Management qualification (APM, PMP or equivalent).
• Experience managing EPC, EPCM or brownfield/project modification scopes.
• Familiarity with risk management, forecasting and project reporting tools.
