Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of projects. Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will primarily be based on–site, with the flexibility to adapt to project requirements. You will lead client, design and supply chain engagement on major new build leisure centre projects. Valued from 10–50m
Responsibilities
Assist site managers in adhering to Health and Safety standards.
Keep all documentation, including toolbox talks, up to date with a focus on mental health.
Directly manage Site Managers while upholding core values.
Foster productivity and morale through regular feedback and support.
Oversee design development and coordination of subcontractor packages.
Coordinate with statutory authorities to secure certifications for project handover.
Develop and update construction and short–term programmes to meet project timelines.
Highlight long lead items and coordinate procurement schedules with the commercial team.
Chair regular progress, M&E coordination, and project delivery team meetings.
Manage planning permissions, building control trackers, and planning condition discharges.
Prepare and issue RFIs, manage change orders, and oversee quality control measures.
Ensure all requisite consents, commissioning programmes, and O&M manuals are completed before handover.
Address deficiencies in workmanship or resourcing with sub–contractors.
Assist site managers in planning labour resources and procuring materials to meet project specifications and timelines.
Qualifications
Collaborate with site managers, sub–contractors, and the wider project team.
Monitor project progress and address any issues proactively.
Provide regular updates to the Head of Construction and other stakeholders.
